The Magic Mirror in Abby and Jonah's basement is described as having a stone frame decorated with carvings of fairies and is bolted to the basement wall with giant Frankenstein bolts. This mirror transports Abby and Jonah into all the fairy tales they visit, with the exception of Abby in Wonderland, in which Abby and her friends enter Wonderland through a rabbit hole.
A fairy named Maryrose lives in this mirror, and was evidently trapped in it by her cousin Jax, Gluck and a few other evil fairies.
There is also a magic mirror in the fairy tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, belonging to Evil Evelyn, Snow White's stepmother, in Whatever After: Fairest of All. A fairy named Gabrielle lives in it. She is assumedly also trapped because she quips that the mirror is "no fun place to hang out in". It is unknown what it is like inside.
